Fulcrum Mechanical, Inc.
founded in April, 1994, to serve the Micro Electronics, Pharmaceutical, and Bio-tec industries. Randy Watts, co-founder of Vector Mechanical, Inc. in 1988, and ICOM Mechanical, Inc. Piping Department in 1984, created Fulcrum Mechanical Inc. to provide the level of detail, and service demanded by, and not often offered in the Hi-Tech, and construction industry.


In July 2002 Gerry Reed joined Fulcrum. Gerry brings over 22-years of all aspects in Facilities operations and Management. He has both domestic and international experience with many of the High Tech Businesses in the Valley including National Semiconductor, Monolithic Memories, Paradigm Technology and Read-Rite. He met Randy at ICOM Mechanical where they worked together to build a Process Piping Department.

Fulcrum Mechanical, Inc. and its employees have more than 25-years experience coordinating and managing design/build projects within the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, and General Manufacturing Industries. Experiences included from General Construction through High Purity Process Piping, HVAC and Clean Room Construction.

Fulcrum Mechanical, Inc. has designed projects for several of the fabs in the Bay Area. Randy and Gerry are involved in managing all project phases from the design concept to the final tool hookup and ongoing facility systems support. They are responsible for the estimating and share the responsibility of the subcontractors, scheduling and managing the field activities. Servicing all Customers’ needs; 24-hours a day 7-days a week is most important. Through the years, Fulcrum Mechanical, Inc. has provided the personal service and continues to maintain most, if not all of the original relationships and accounts.
